Oct. 16—The Weatherford College women’s golf team finished second at the Buccaneer Fall Invitational held on Monday and Tuesday at Brenham Country Club. “We struggled the first day but improved by 19 strokes on Tuesday,” said Katie Johnson, WC assistant golf coach. “We are a young group, and the way they battled every tournament this semester shows this group is special.
