Look no further than what Barkley had to say on the CBS Sports pregame show ahead of the Final Four showdown between the Florida Gators and Barkley’s Auburn Tigers.

It is the second time in school history that Auburn has reached the Final Four.

The first appearance coming back in 2019.

It has been the most successful run in program history, with head coach Bruce Pearl leading the way.

Something that Barkley says shouldn’t be taken for granted.

Barkley put it all into perspective, referencing what it was like when he played there from 1981-1984 to what the program is now.

“I think this team felt a lot of pressure,” Barkley said.

“Talking to Bruce, privately, and listen.

“Auburn, number one, when we got to the Final Four I said that was the greatest accomplishment in Auburn basketball history.

“But we’ve got knocked out early the last couple of years.

Barkley has always been outspoken and never one to hold back what’s on his mind[/caption]

“The people of Auburn are like… now they’re spoiled.

“There was a time if Auburn made it to the tournament, we threw a parade.

“Now we made it to the Final Four, and people are like, ‘We can’t do better?’

“We’re back here y’all.”

While Barkley joked about Auburn throwing a parade just for making the tournament, the Tigers are now two wins away from the real thing.

Two more wins, and the parade is on down in Auburn.
