Oleksandr Usyk has revealed that his next fight will come against the winner of Daniel Dubois vs Joseph Parker.

The heavyweight titans are set to square off on February 22 in Saudi Arabia for Dubois’ IBF title.

Usyk was forced to relinquish the red and gold strap to pursue a rematch with Tyson Fury at the back end of last year.

The Ukrainian slickster unified all four major sanctioning body belts in May by beating Fury in their inaugural encounter.

However, just over four weeks later he was stripped due to his contractual obligation to give Fury a second fight rather than face Dubois, who was his mandatory at the time.

As a result, Dubois was upgraded from interim to full world champion and defended the belt by knocking out Anthony Joshua in September.

Usyk defeated Fury for a second time three months later on points in their immediate sequel and he is now on the hunt for the final piece of the undisputed puzzle once again.

“We wait for a fight on February 22 between Daniel and Joseph,” he told talkSPORT.com during an unprecedented exclusive interview on the London Eye.

“Whoever wins this fight between Daniel and Joseph, I have already made the fight.”

Asked for his prediction on the fight, Usyk handed talkSPORT a ‘Ready To Fight’ pamphlet with analytics from his team and replied: “52 per cent for Daniel and 48 per cent for Parker that is what my team have predicted.”

Usyk has very little left to achieve in the sport.

He is one of only three male boxers in the four-belt era to have achieved undisputed supremacy in two weight classes (cruiserweight and heavyweight) alongside Naoya Inoue and Terence Crawford.

Several members of the boxing fraternity called for 38-year-old Usyk to hang up his gloves after his most recent win over Fury.

But ‘The Cat’ told Sky Sports during an earlier interview that he only has two fights left before he hangs up his gloves.

“I think two years, one and a half [left in boxing],” he said.

“I feel great myself. I feel I have two fights to prepare [for], not more. Just two.”

Both of those bouts will come at heavyweight.

The former cruiserweight king ruled out a move back to his original weight class and turned his nose up at the idea of fighting in the newly erected bridgerweight division.

The weight class (200lbs-224lbs), which sits between cruiserweight and heavyweight, was established in 2020 and is recognised by two of the four major sanctioning bodies – the WBC and WBA.

Muslim Gadzhimagomedov is the WBA’s champion while Kevin Lerena was upgraded to full champion last year after Lawrence Okolie vacated the belt in order to move up to heavyweight.

Usyk could technically become a three-weight world champion if he were to win a fight against one of the two champions at the weight, although its lack of prestige means it is of no interest to the future Hall of Famer.

“I will say no,” he told talkSPORT.com. “I don’t think about it.

“I have cruiserweight and heavyweight. Bridgerweight is new? Only one belt?

“Two belts then. I fight for four.”
