England will look to bounce back from their opening ODI defeat to the West Indies this weekend when they meet again live on talkSPORT 2.

The visitors handed out four debuts at the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium in Antigua and were bowled out for 209.

Stand-in captain Liam Livingstone top scored with 48, as an inexperienced England made a poor score.

Rain then fell for a few hours, meaning the Windies were set a total of 157 to chase down due to the Duckworth-Lewis-Stern method.

They chased it down in the space of 25.5 overs for the loss of just two wickets, with Evin Lewis hitting 94 off 69 balls.

It means the hosts can wrap up the series with victory in this next encounter, while England need a win to take the series to a decider.

West Indies vs England: Team news

The Windies could elect to name an unchanged team after a comprehensive performance from them in the opening ODI.

Jayden Seales and Gudakesh Motie bowled particularly well and will be full of confidence.

The England team doesn’t have much experience to call upon, but it’s unlikely Jofra Archer will play twice in the space of 48 hours.

Saqib Mahmood or Reece Topley are likely to come in for Archer.

West Indies vs England: What has been said?

After an awful start to the series, Livingstone has called on England to play with more intelligence.

Speaking after the opening defeat, he said: “We’ve got to get up to speed as quickly as possible.

“We had four debuts and they’ll have learnt a hell of a lot from what they experienced and hopefully they’ll come on from that.

“We’re not going to take a backward step but sometimes we’ve got to be a little bit more smart. Hopefully, conditions will be a little bit different (on Saturday) and we can go again.”
