It’s not a great time for a match to start on a weekend due to travel and public transport.
Luckily, the journey from London to Bournemouth isn’t too bad, but it’s still an awkward kick-off time so fans.
Why is Bournemouth vs Chelsea starting at 8pm?
This encounter has been selected for TV broadcast by Sky Sports.
It was originally scheduled for 3pm on Saturday, September 14.
However, it will be shown live and has been moved to ensure Sky can show it on the same day.
Normally, they have a 5:30pm slot on Saturdays, but they are also showing Aston Villa vs Everton and have picked that one for that spot.
This means the Bournemouth vs Chelsea match has been bumped later into the evening, so Sky Sports can show both games.
The match will also be available to watch on Sky Go for existing customers, while a NOW TV pass can also be purchased.
