Tottenham’s Carabao Cup clash with Manchester City this week has been given an unusual kick-off time of 8:15pm.
The fourth-round contest is set for Wednesday, but it will start after the other five ties that are taking place on the same night.

It is a repeat of the 2020/21 Carabao Cup final which saw Aymeric Laporte earn City a 1-0 win at Wembley.
Tottenham earned their spot in the fourth round of this term’s Carabao Cup following a 2-1 victory over Coventry City in September.
Meanwhile, Pep Guardiola‘s side secured their place in the tie with a 2-1 home win over Watford.
They now meet aiming to book a spot in the quarter-finals, with kick-off set for a bizarre time…
Why is Tottenham vs Man City kicking off at 8:15pm?
Tottenham vs Manchester City will be getting going at 8:15pm.
That is half an hour after four other games on the same night and 45 minutes after Brighton vs Liverpool.
There has been no official reason revealed for the weird change, however, it is likely due to TV coverage.
All six fixtures on Wednesday night are going to be broadcast on Sky Sports, so kick-offs have been spread out.
This game is the latest of the six and will be shown on Sky Sports Main Event while the others are on Sky Sports + at 7:30pm and 7:45pm.
Having gaps between kick-offs will likely increase viewership and give fans time to switch between games.
