Wolves v Everton prediction

Wolves currently sit in 17th, just one position yet 10 points behind Saturday’s opponents. A win should give them some breathing room ahead of Ipswich and Leicester in the drop zone.

Last time out, Wolves suffered a 2-1 defeat at the hands of Fulham, a goal from Joao Gomes not enough to stop them from losing their sixth game in eight league matches, before then crashing out of the FA Cup, losing on penalties to Bournemouth.

Under David Moyes’s guidance Everton have looked a completely different side. The Toffees are one of the most in form teams in the Premier League, currently undefeated in their last seven with four wins.

Two own goals from Wolves defender Craig Dawson alongside goals from Ashley Young and Orel Mangala gave Everton a 4-0 win against Wolves earlier this season. Though that victory was the first time the Toffees had beaten wolves in seven attempts.

With the suspension of Matheus Cunha following his red card against Bournemouth I find it hard to see anything but an Everton win being the outcome – I’ll back a 2-0 away win.

Wolves v Everton betting tips

Beto has looked rejuvenated since the arrival of David Moyes, the portuguese forward had only scored one goal in the league prior but has since became a regular in the Scotsmans starting eleven and has backed the managers faith – scoring five in his last five league games.

Wolves will be missing the directness of Cunha and with Guedes still out with a knee injury expect Jorgen Strand Larsen to take on a lot more responsibility. The Norwegian has taken 24 shots on goal this season, three times more than any of his other available teammates.
