December 2024 award winners:
- Coach: Asefa Firew Hailegebrealar (Kampala Queens)
- Player: Resty Kobusobozi (Lady Doves)
The kick-off for the long anticipated second round of the Finance Trust Bank Women Super League is around the corner.
Like the norm has been since the start of the 2024-2025 season, the outstanding personalities (coach and player) have been recognized and rewarded accordingly, thanks to the sponsorship from Finance Trust Bank.
Kampala Queens’ head tactician Asefa Firew Hailegebrealar was awarded coach of the month.
Following victories in three matches out of four games (one draw), the Ethiopian deservedly earned the gong that comes along with Ug.Shs 500,000.
Masindi based Lady Doves’ Resty Kobusobozi was awarded player of the month award.
Kobusobozi scored a massive 7 goals in 5 games and in the process won three woman of the match awards.
Finance Trust Head of Strategy Francis Wasswa and FUFA Deputy Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Decolas Kiiza graced this awards ceremony at the banking institution head offices in Kampala on Wednesday, 29th January 2025.
