Jamie Vardy, Patrick Bamford and Tom Cairney aren’t set to become Wrexham players this summer.
That’s according to club director Humphrey Ker, who has shut down the transfer rumours following their promotion to the Championship.

Wrexham were promoted for the third consecutive season as they finished second in League One behind Birmingham City.
The Welsh side were playing in the National League as recently as 2023 but have catapulted up the pyramid after Hollywood investment.
Actors Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney have helped attract ex-Premier League players including Ben Foster and Steven Fletcher to aid them.
With Championship football on the horizon, a number of other big-name players have become speculated targets for the club.
However, Ker dismissed the chances of their arrivals on Radio X as he and Wrexham prepare for a very busy summer of transfers.
“Have Wrexham signed Jamie Vardy?” host Chris Moyles asked him on behalf of a listener after the striker’s last game for Leicester City.
However, this was met with: “No.”
Leeds United forward Bamford was the next player to be asked about as he approaches the last year of his deal at Elland Road.
“No,” Ker replied again, before adding: “Actually, I should stop doing this because eventually you might say someone and I have to be like, ‘Yes, that’s true.’”
Ker then explained: “One of the things, much like Ryan Reynolds, the name Wrexham generates clicks. So we’ve started now getting linked with absolutely everybody, we’re like, ‘Who?’

“I see our fans getting absolutely incandescent on Twitter about it, ‘What on Earth are they doing trying to sign this guy?’ Well, none of us have heard of him before.”
Moyles had a final question about Fulham midfielder Cairney, whose representatives have been contacted by Wrexham: “Daniel says, ‘Chris, what a phenomenal story the Wrexham one is.
“But, can you please ask Humphrey, with peace and love, to stay away from the Fulham captain Tom Cairney?’”
“Daniel, you got it,” Ker reassuringly responded, and then said: “He’s a brilliant player, Tom Cairney, and I’m sure we’d be very grateful to have him.
“But he is the very specific instance I thought of where our fans were like, ‘I’m not sure about this, I don’t know what they’re doing, what does this mean about our transfer thing?’”
Wrexham have announced that eight players are being released ahead of next season.

One of those is Fletcher, who confirmed his departure himself after two seasons in Wales, scoring 16 goals.
Other experienced players could be targeted in the summer as the club bid for an ambitious promotion to the Premier League.
